MRI / CT Scans
Procedure Room ... Meets ... Breathing Room

High Field Open MRI

Picture
Some people worry that getting an MRI scan might be confining and uncomfortable, but with the spacious Philips Panorama 1.0T MRI those worries vanish. And while you’ll find the Panorama 1.0T OPEN MRI comfortable, your doctor will appreciate the superior image quality. That means better diagnoses and fewer re-scans. So you can breathe easy. MRI scans are often used for:
  • Brain and spine disorders such as MS, stroke, aneurysm, traumatic injuries and myriad other maladies.
  • Sports injuries of the extremities, joints and spine.
  • Spinal issues like congenital abnormalities, chronic conditions and diseases.
  • Soft tissue exams to detect benign and cancerous tumors and abnormal tissue growth.
Some advantages of Open MRI include:
  • The Philips HFO is the world’s first truly open high-field MRI with active shielding.
  • 1.0T uses advanced open magnet technology rather than traditional cylindrical magnets for comfort and superior images.
  • Our scanner was designed with the patient in mind and offers superior patient comfort and access, particularly for children, elderly patients, clinically obese and those suffering from painful sports injuries.
  • Advanced high-field performance increases image quality and provides faster diagnosis.

CT Scan 64 slice

A CT Scan (sometimes called a CAT scan) is a painless and a non-invasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. CT uses a very thin special x-ray beam to produce detailed, cross sectional views of the body part being studied. The images can be examined digitally or via print. CT is often a preferred method of diagnosing causes of pain due to trauma, illness, organ injuries and abnormalities and many different forms of cancer. CT scans of the internal organs, bone, blood vessels and soft tissue provide greater clarity than conventional x-ray exams.

CT is commonly used for:
  • Brain
  • Sinuses
  • Facial Bones
  • Neck Soft Tissue
  • Chest
  • PE Chest
  • Abdomen / Pelvis
  • Renal Stone Study
  • CT Urogram
  • Cervical Spine
  • Thoracic Spine
  • Lumbar Spine
  • Shoulder
